Give Thanks with A Grateful Heart.

Our time in Spokane was coming to a close and it was definitely time to get new tires put on the pickup (picture to the left shows where the tread was at before I took it in to get the news ones put on), this was something we budgeted for as we knew it was coming up so that wasn't such a big deal. BUT as it always tends to occur, two other things failed around the same time as getting new tires put on.

First, the refrigerator decided to loose a couple of circulation fans and the electrical heating elements failed...yes, the same refrigerator that we had to replace the cooling unit in last year.    Shortly after the fridge failed, it was still getting cool in the evenings and we were using our living room heater to help take some of the bite out of the cool mornings, until I smelled electrical smoke and could not figure out where it was coming from until Lexi noticed smoke coming from the vent of the heater.

It was at that point we shut the heater down and I pulled the heater out of the wall and tore it apart. It ended up that some poorly connected power wires shorted against one of the electric motors on the inside of the fire place.

The failure happened during the evening when we were already in bed and was quite a concerning thing as my imagination played the "what if" scenarios in my mind.

But thanks be to God that nothing occurred that put us in danger causing serious injury or death, as stated last year when these things happen, we simply give thanks to God that he is good and that we are all alive, have our health and aren't starving.

We made it to Hyatville/Worland a couple of weeks later and began our ministry of encouragement here. There isn't much in the way of internet/cell reception but I was glad to have a moment where I could give you all an update.

We love you all and thank you for the continued support and prayers!

Make a loud shout to Yahweh, all the earth. Serve Yahweh with gladness; Come before Him with joyful songs. Know that Yahweh, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.  For Yahweh is good; His lovingkindness endures forever And His faithfulness, generation unto generation.  - Psalm 100
